Food safety authorities of all importing countries including the EU, the US have put in
place stringent laws and lowered the tolerance limits of contaminants like antibiotics
causing substantial increase in cargo rejection from many countries.
A single rejection distorts the rotation of working capital and huge losses happen due
to destruction of cargo. In this context we, with support of the Government of India -
Ministry Of Finance, IRDA & RBI and in Association with Amlin corperate Insurance
and Marsh Inc, have launched an Insurance scheme to support the Indian exporter
in the event of unfortunate rejection by health authorities of the EU, the US
and Canada.
